JUNIOR LEAGUE OF WASHINGTON

As the 86th President of the Junior League of Washington (JLW) in its 112th year, Charlyn Stanberry oversaw an organization of over 2,300 members advancing women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. 

For the 2024-2025 league year, Charlyn encouraged JLW to S.H.I.N.E., Serve the Community, Honor our Mission, Expand our Impact, Nurture the Next Generation, and Empower our Members. She has contributed to JLW in roles such as President-Elect, Strategic Sustainability Council Director, Ways and Means Council Director, Adult Community Placements Council Director and Leadership Institute Chair to name a few.

Additionally, she represented JLW in the 2024 Leadership Greater Washington cohort and was named to the Inaugural Top 40 Under 40 Class for the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc.
